The 2025 CSUN Softball team showcased its talent throughout the whole season. The Matadors finished the campaign with a 26-26 record, including going 17-10 in tightly contested Big West Conference. Having only lost one Big West series all season, CSUN marched its way to the second overall seed in the inaugural Big West Softball Championships. CSUN made it happen on both sides of the ball. In Big West play, CSUN was second in batting average all season with a .287 clip. The Matadors also ranked third in ERA on the year in the Big West with a 2.77 ERA. Eleven seniors led the team to CSUN’s best winning percentage since 2023.
