The 2025 season saw its share of high moments for the CSUN women's tennis team. Under the direction of 28-year head coach Gary Victor and led on the court by a talented and deep roster, the Matadors earned their first post-season win since 2023, a 4-3 victory over Cal State Fullerton.

Overall, the Matadors boasted an 11-10 overall record, including a 7-3 home mark.  Over Victor’s 28 seasons at the helm, Victor has 353 wins and 261 losses, the highest winning percentage of any CSUN tennis coach in its history. 2024-25 became the 22nd season where Coach Victor eclipsed more than 10 wins in one campaign.
