Fellow Brothers of Lambda Chi Alpha Beta-Rho,
My name is Nick Cutelli and I am the High Pi for the chapter. I’m originally from the Southeast Missouri State Delta Phi Chapter. It’s an honor to be your High Pi and be part of a chapter that has such a long history at California State University Northridge. As you know our current actives are provided a home made possible by the Lambda Chi Alpha Beta Rho Housing Corporation. That’s why as part of my first High Pi projects I put together a fundraiser/sponsorship to help keep the house alive and with the help of CSUN all your donations to the fraternity will be tax deductible.
BACKGROUND
The Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity has been a staple in the greek community at California State University Northridge for almost 50 years. It was in August of 2011 when the members of Lambda Chi Alpha Beta Rho called the ChopHouse their new greek home. Jump to 2020 and the house is still going strong carrying with it the history and legacy of our great fraternity.
WHY IT'S IMPORTANT
The Lambda Chi Alpha ChopHouse is important for so many reasons. First, it's home to some CSUN students that want to live right across the street from campus instead of commuting a great distance every day. Second, the ChopHouse is an event space that hosts various philanthropies and fundraising charity events. Third, it's a study hall that allows students to focus on their academics, especially when they're going through finals crunch time craziness. The ChopHouse is starting to go through typical wear and tear brought on by age, so that's why we need your donations to help keep the house updated.
OUR GOAL
Our goal is to be able to raise enough money to cover/ease the costs of various projects such as new paint, electrical upgrades, roof repairs, and door security upgrades. We also want to obtain some new furniture for a chapter/study room, parlor area, trophy room, and resident rooms. We also want to fix up the backyard by planting new grass and building a BBQ area.
