Emergency COVID Relief For Journalism Students
Last year, we at the CSUN Journalism Alumni Association raised funds to provide relief to Journalism students who had lost part-time jobs or were otherwise adversely affected financially by COVID-19 and found it difficult to pay for tuition, books and rent. Over $8,200.00 was raised, and some students who might have had to drop out of school were able to continue their education.
While remarkable progress toward mitigating the effects of the virus has been made, the Journalism Department has informed us that there are still students who need help right now to tide them over until things get back to normal. Because of this immediate and continuing need, we're launching this Emergency COVID Relief For Journalism Students fundraising effort. Please help us make a difference in these students' lives by making a donation today!
