Our story, Here, stars Jan, an elderly woman with Alzheimer’s disease who gets one last chance at love. Between a worsening memory, doctor's visits, and outings with her daughter, Katie... there's not much room for excitement. This all changes when Jan meets the charming Wes Coleman, a new resident at her retirement home. Now, Jan must fight her declining memory while exploring her new relationship with Wes, and maintaining her ongoing relationship with her daughter.
After witnessing the decline of her own Nana from Alzheimer's, Taylor Berberich was moved to write this story, Here. She knows the pain felt by millions of families worldwide, and hopes to turn that pain into a hopeful, fun and genuine love story. Here serves as a reminder that, even in old age, there is still love worth fighting for and memories worth making.
Alzheimer's has stolen thousands of lives, and thousands of memories... but it can never take the stories left behind, the stories we pass on and the stories we share. May what we refuse to forget, live Here.

What Challenges Will We Face
The Here Crew will be creating this story with Covid-19 Health concerns in mind. Due to the amount of people needed to make this production happen, we will be taking ample steps to ensure the health and safety of our crew by taking Covid-19 tests, abiding by SAG-AFTRA Covid-19 safety guidelines, having a Covid-19 Compliance Officer on set at all times who will be monitoring and teaching proper sanitation and disinfecting precautions.
