About our Film:
This documentary short explores the idea of nature versus nurture as we delve into the concept of donor conceived children. This story explains the personal experiences and feelings of several sperm donor conceived half siblings across the United States, who all happen to connect with one another. From birth until now, we investigate what truly influences the feelings of connectedness and family.
We will tell our story through the use of in person/zoom interviews of the half siblings and the donor himself, archival family photos and videos, recreations, and educational information. Join us as we explore a topic that is not usually talked about: donor conception. This is a positive story that will entertain, educate, and make you want to give a family member a call all at the same time!
Any donations made to our film will be used as follows:
Permits
Equipment such as lights, lenses, hard drives, software, microphones, transcriptions, etc.
Food for all subjects and crew members during our shoots
Any necessary props/ decor for the interviews
Applying to Film Festivals
Any needed travel requirements
