Our Crowdfunding Groups
Hello everyone!
We are a group of 6 Recreational Tourism Management students currently taking a class focused on Nonprofit Organization and Fund Development. As a part of our class, we are putting together this fundraiser to support field trips and excursion opportunities for classes within the department so that students will have the opportunity to gain experience within the field before they graduate!
The Recreational Tourism Management department hosts field trip experiences that cover a variety of topics and experiences such as backpacking, caving, wilderness survival, leadership development through backpacking trips, flat water boating, winter mountaineering, day trips to Catalina Island, trips to various hotels in the community, and so much more.
Through this fundraiser, we will be able to further support these classes as well as others in being able to provide opportunities and experiences to students. The funds raised will go towards transportation cost, admission fees, and gear costs in order to make these opportunities more accessible for more classes, creating an even further impact on the students to feel more prepared to be professionals in their given fields.
