Who are we? - Allow us to introduce ourselves
The 2024 CSUN Steel Bridge team comprises undergraduate engineering students under the ASCE Student Chapter. Our project consists of us designing, fabricating, and building a 1:10 scale model steel bridge that can withstand a load of 2500 lbs. Last year with the help of our sponsors and donators we were able to achieve 6th in the nation. We are looking forward to following this.
Since the beginning of our journey on this project, our team has dedicated and sacrificed their time outside of their academic careers to build the most efficient bridge which can be assembled in the fastest time. We have grown together as a team of prospective engineers and essentially rebuilt our legacy from the ground up after the pandemic season by overcoming all the trials and tribulations to make this bridge together.

This year's regional competition will be held at University of Hawaii at Manoa (Honolulu, HI). The entire team will be traveling to the University of Hawaii. In order to do that, we will be needing financial assistance. Our team consists of talented and dedicated students who managed to put in hours in the bridge building while having a busy school schedule.
With all the donations and support, our financial stress will be relieved. Therefore, we can be solely focused on reaching our goals again. Every amount of donation will take us a long away and help build a reputation at CSUN for being the best school in California.
All sponsorships and donations are tax-deductible. The CSUN ASCE student chapter is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization subgroup of the ASCE Los Angeles Section.
