Make a difference and donate to support a deserving family this holiday season!

We are working to sponsor a night at the Soraya for 3 deserving families from CSUN and our surrounding community. These families have experienced hardships in the recent months and are part of an underserved community. Many of them are focused on essentials and their holiday plans are limited. Our hope is to help provide an amazing holiday experience for them. With just a small donation we can make this possible and make a difference this holiday season.

How Does it work?

In partnership with The Soraya, the Homegrown Alumni and Black Alumni will adopt these families and treat them to a memorable night. When you donate to this fundraiser, your gift will help ensure these deserving families receive a meaningful and memorable experience. They will be invited to attend the Nochebuena Dec.16 at 8pm event at the Soraya. Event and details of the experience are listed below.

Event information

The beloved Soraya Christmas spectacular returns to celebrate the holiday traditions of Mexico. Mariachi Garibaldi de Jaime Cuéllar pairs with Ballet Folklórico de Los Ángeles to blend music, dance, and culture. Spirited folk tales are shared through a stunning display of vibrant colors and dance as Mariachi music fills the air.
