Our Crowdfunding Groups
"Amnesiac" is a short television series created by Bianca Cruz and students of this semester's CTVA346 course. The funds raised will go towards location fees and permits, props and wardrobe, meals, and other related expenses. As students and filmmakers, your support will help us in our education and in the pursuit of making a great show!
Our crew includes Executive Producer Bianca Cruz, Producer Annabella Ferraiuolo, 1st AD Dominic Tan, Production Designer Tayden Hilton, Cinematographers Brandon Vancour and Hagop Kahvejian, Production Sound Mixer Dani Jones, Post Sound Editor Rosie Galvez, and Editors Reagan Lopez and Cedric Daniega.
Amnesiac is a gritty exploration of modern sci-fi. This series seeks to explore the relationship between humans. It is not humanity vs. technology, but rather humanity vs. humanity through the lens of technology.
Moses, a local who works late nights as a bartender, leads a very normal life. He doesn’t ask for more than he needs, and he is always attentive. However, he is thrown into a search mission when he realizes that his childhood friend and ex-lover, Mila, has gone missing. In order to earn extra money to help her bed-ridden grandmother, Mila signs away her life and freedom when she agrees to become a test subject for a new brain implant, known as Cerebrum. The two soon realize that this implant and the company behind it are more complex than they ever imagined. They must fight to save each other and the world against technological advances that serve the rich and harm the poor. This is only the beginning of the end.
