Your gift -- of any amount -- will help us reach our funding goals to strengthen our students' success! The Department of Child and Adolescent Development at CSUN is committed to helping students pursue further education toward careers such as health practitioners, mental health clinicians, and educators. Most CADV majors and minors will have completed the requirements for the Child Development Permit--the current credential in early childhood education. While the program continues to grow, financial concerns remain as obstacles to many of our students’ success.

Support CADV 495B Students!
Some students have exhausted their avenues for funding. They need help to afford some expenses like the graduation application fee, or culminating activities, such as CADV 495B which prepares them to submit applications for post-baccalaureate opportunities (i.e. graduate school, credential programs, etc.).
Conference Assistance
For a student to present at a professional conference can be transformational. You can help CADV Honor students with expenses like conference registration, travel, and lodging so they can present their quality independent research.
Internships
CADV students get professional mentorship with community partners – including our alumni. Students build their professional skills and networks and explore what their might future look like. Your support of internships helps make this possible.
