This documentary looks at the detailed craftsmanship, the strict code of ethics, and the challenges of bringing damaged masterpieces back to life while staying true to the artist's original vision. Aleksei’s work for top auction houses around the world, like Sotheby’s and bonhams showcases the delicate balance between preserving history and restoring it for the future.

Louis is a senior film student with a strong foundation in cinematography, editing, and producing. Known for his dynamic approach and sharp improvisational skills, he has contributed to both personal and collaborative projects. His portfolio includes the student thesis film Restoring The Past and his directorial debut Ascending From the Ashes, which he also produced. Louis is proficient in every aspect of production, from directing and cinematography to editing and screenwriting, bringing a well-rounded expertise to every project.

Director 

Nairi Bandari was born and raised in Iran, but always had an appetite to explore the world.

Upon completion of her studies at the French University of Armenia, she embarked upon a journey to the diverse city of Los Angeles, driven by her passion for visual arts and photography. Presently, she thrives as a student of documentary production at California State University of Northridge, simultaneously immersing herself in the creation of captivating films that embody the essence of truth.

Cinematographer

 Narek Aghazarian is a college student with a deep passion for cinematography and photography. He loves visual storytelling and is always looking for new ways to express emotions through his work. His interest in art and its lifespan and longevity inspired him to develop the story for this film, exploring how creativity evolves and endures over time. He enjoys experimenting with different styles and techniques, aiming to evoke genuine feelings in his audience. As he navigates his journey in film, Narek continues to explore diverse themes and perspectives while developing his artistic vision.

Sound 

Quinn is an award-winning multimedia professional with extensive experience in field reporting, anchoring, and directing. He is an expert in Adobe Premiere, skilled in both single and multi-camera storytelling in studio and on location. Quinn is driven to expand his expertise in the evolving multiplatform landscape, including digital, streaming, and broadcast formats.

EditorAtena Naghi is a skilled documentary editor based in Los Angeles, specializing in crafting compelling visual stories. With a strong background in TV documentary production, Atena excels at blending narrative depth with technical precision to bring impactful stories to life. Highly organized and adept at managing multiple projects under pressure, she consistently delivers high-quality results.

Her expertise includes in-depth research and maintaining meticulous tracking systems. Atena’s passion for storytelling extends beyond film, as she captures the essence of street life through photography.

Additionally, Atena is social media savvy, engaging actively with her audience to share her work and insights into the editing process. As she approaches graduation in Fall, she is eager to take on new projects in the world of editing, bringing her creative vision to every frame.
