Our senior design project focuses on designing and fabricating a human-powered vehicle (HPV) that combines aerodynamic efficiency, lightweight construction, and rider safety for the ASME Human Powered Vehicle Challenge (HPVC). This project emphasizes the integration of mechanical systems to enhance performance under real-world conditions, including optimizing the frame structure, fairing, and drivetrain to maximize speed, control, and stability. The vehicle will undergo rigorous testing and analysis to meet competition standards for safety, durability, and maneuverability. Through this project, our team aims to push the limits of sustainable engineering and demonstrate the potential of human-powered transportation as a viable, environmentally friendly alternative.
