Help empower Black Engineers by funding a career-developing conference

The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is dedicated to nurturing the talents of Black individuals aspiring to pursue careers in engineering. With a mission to increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact their communities, NSBE hosts multiple events each year, including our regional conferences. 

At the Region 6 Fall Regional Conference, chapters from across the western U.S. for a weekend of professional development, networking, and leadership workshops. Attendees benefit from a 2-3 day career fair featuring renowned companies like NASA, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon offering opportunities from internships to full-time positions. The event also hosts workshops providing valuable insights into job skills such as elevator pitches, resume building, and technical interviews.

Beyond professional development, the convention offers hospitality suites where members can directly engage with company recruiters, expanding their networks and compensating for any missed opportunities during the career fair. 

The Fall Regional Conference, taking place from November 22nd to 24th 2024 in San Diego. This is a key moment for the California State University Northridge chapter, and we invite you to support our efforts in sending our members to this impactful event.
