About Us

We are the CSUN Women’s Lacrosse Club, a dedicated group of student-athletes representing California State University, Northridge in competitive lacrosse. As a club team, we are passionate about the sport and committed to growing both as athletes and as a community.

Our Goals

Our mission is to promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and athletic excellence while representing CSUN in lacrosse competitions, tournaments, and games across California. We strive to make the sport more accessible to students who share our love for the game, regardless of financial barriers.

Why We Need Your Support

Unlike university-funded teams, our club is student-run and relies heavily on player contributions and fundraising to cover essential costs. Our members are responsible for paying out of pocket for:

• Game fees – Entry fees for tournaments and league competitions.
• Equipment costs – Jerseys, sticks, balls, and protective gear.
• Travel expenses – Gas, hotels, and transportation to away games.

How Your Donations Help

Every contribution makes a direct impact on our team by helping us:

• Reduce financial burdens on players – Each of our players is required to pay out-of-pocket to help with these costs. All of our players are college students and this can be a significant financial burden for most of us.
• Secure better equipment for safer gameplay – Mouth guards, face masks, helmets, and medical equipment are required to keep players safe.
• Cover travel expenses to compete across California – We drive ourselves to our games! Expenses such as gas and hotels are paid by us.
• Expand our reach and grow the sport on campus – We are ALWAYS looking for women interested in joining our club, donations will also be put towards spreading our word and helping our club grow!
