CSUN Timber-Strong Design Build Team 2026

Help CSUN Timber compete at PSWS 2026!


Annually, the American Society of Engineers (ASCE) hosts the Pacific South-West Symposium (PSWS). The Timber-Strong Design Build Competition (Timber) is a flagship event at PSWS that challenges student's structural knowledge and research skills. We will design, bid, and construct a miniature two-story home according to the released rule-set.

Your donations will help us pay for materials, transportation, lodging, and event expenses. Your contribution allows CSUN students to represent our program and gain hands-on experience of all the stages required to create a timber (wooden) structure.
