Decoding Bilingual Voices Research Study

Bilingual voices shape how millions of people communicate every day, yet research on how individuals use their voices across different contexts is still limited. Understanding these patterns is essential for advancing speech-language pathology and improving services for diverse communities.

Our team at California State University, Northridge is conducting the Decoding Bilingual Voices Research Study to explore how bilingual speakers adapt their voices in different speaking situations. This student-led project in the Speech-Language Science Lab will provide valuable insights at the intersection of voice, language, and culture.

To make this work possible, we are raising $400 to provide $10 gift cards to 40 participants as a token of appreciation for their time and contributions. Every donation goes directly to participant compensation, ensuring our research is ethical and community centered. Your support helps us honor the voices of our participants while driving meaningful discoveries about multilingual communication.
