Thunder Graduate (2025) - CSUN Episodic Series

THE STORY:

When timid college professor Daniel Mayberry is forced by his overbearing boss the Dean to teach a GED program. Gets shocked when he discovers that one of his student is  his former high school bully, Johnny Dangerfield. Now trying to rebuild his life, Johnny clashes with Daniel as old wounds resurface. But as they’re both forced to confront their insecurities and failures, they realize they share the same struggle of earning the respect from others and themselves. In the end, they learn that sometimes you have to lose everything to truly gain something which is the connection that brings Daniel and Johnny together.
