About our club team!

The Women’s Lacrosse Club at CSUN is a student-run organization under the university’s Sports Club program. As part of this affiliation, our members take on full responsibility for managing the club’s operations including recruiting and organizing coaches, planning the competitive season schedule, managing finances and fundraising, coordinating travel, and promoting the team on campus. The Sports Club program at CSUN provides students with the opportunity to compete at a collegiate level while developing leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills in a supportive and engaging environment.

Our team prides itself on fostering strong connections and lifelong friendships through teamwork and shared dedication to the sport. Once you join, you become part of a close-knit community that feels like family. While lacrosse is still growing in popularity on the West Coast, our club offers a welcoming space for both experienced players and newcomers who are eager to learn and compete at the collegiate club level.

Where your donations will be going

During the competitive season, our team travels throughout Southern California and participates in an annual trip to Sonoma to compete with our Northern Division counterparts. These trips are essential to our program, allowing our players to experience high-level competition and strengthen team camaraderie. Donations play a vital role in supporting these opportunities by helping to cover travel-related expenses such as hotel accommodations, fuel reimbursements, and team meals. 

When hosting home games at CSUN, contributions also help fund necessary game-day expenses, including referee fees and field preparation materials such as paint supplies for field marking.

Beyond travel and hosting costs, donations directly enhance our program by providing essential equipment for both new and returning players. These include lacrosse sticks, goggles, goals, practice cones, game balls, portable creases, goal net repairs, and additional uniforms for incoming team members. Every contribution directly supports the growth, safety, and success of our student-athletes while ensuring the continued development of women’s lacrosse at CSUN.
