Supporting Student Innovation through CSUN Jams

CSUN Jams are high-energy, interdisciplinary innovation challenges where students collaborate to design technology solutions that address real campus needs—centered on digital equity, engagement, and student success. Each Jam begins with a theme launch and brings together students from all majors to form teams, participate in skill-building workshops, and receive mentoring and feedback as they develop their ideas. Teams then refine their prototypes and present a final pitch to a panel of judges. Top teams receive monetary prizes, and the first-place team may also earn a one-semester student employment opportunity with IT to continue developing their idea with mentor support.
