CoCo Project

What is the CoCo Project?

The CoCo Project is a student-driven initiative under IEEE at California State University, Northridge designed to support hands-on engineering learning, collaboration, and community building among CSUN students.

Through interactive workshops, project-based learning, and collaborative events, CoCo gives students the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world engineering challenges in an inclusive and supportive environment.

Why This Project Matters

Many students learn best by doing. The CoCo Project helps bridge the gap between theory and practice by providing accessible opportunities for students to:

  • Gain practical engineering experience

  • Collaborate with peers across disciplines

  • Build confidence in technical and professional skills

  • Engage with IEEE projects beyond the classroom

This project supports student success, retention, and engagement within CSUN’s engineering and technology community.

How Support Helps

Funds raised through this campaign will directly support the CoCo Project by covering materials, supplies, and resources needed to host student workshops and project activities. All contributions go toward enhancing the learning experience for CSUN students and expanding access to hands-on engineering opportunities.

Who We Are

The CoCo Project is organized by IEEE CSUN, a recognized student organization committed to professional development, technical education, and student leadership within the College of Engineering and Computer Science.

With the support of CSUN faculty and staff advisors, IEEE CSUN creates programs that empower students to explore engineering beyond the classroom and prepare for future careers.

Thank You

Your support helps make hands-on learning more accessible for CSUN students. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps strengthen student-led engineering initiatives and build a more connected campus community.
