Our Story:

Cain Galloway, a supernatural ghost hunter, is on the search for his missing brother Eli. He takes on a case of a missing girl who might have a connection to finding Eli, only to uncover a mysterious roadside diner that traps the desperate and may hold the brother he failed to protect.

Showrunner Statement:

This Road Leads Nowhere is about light and darkness. The inability to move on from the past and the consequences as a result. I believe the past isn’t something you leave behind but something you must learn to coexist with or you risk losing the people you love. It’s an homage to the stories that matter to me most, stories about people trying to become the best version of themselves in spite of everything they’ve gone through.

Director Statement:

‘This Read Leads Nowhere’ is a story about overcoming grief and reconciling with one’s past. At its core, it is about moving on without closure and learning to coexist with what haunts us during our most vulnerable moments. This story is very important for me, not as a storyteller, but as a survivor of a wildfire that claimed my hometown, Lahaina, and almost claimed my life. I learned from this experience that some scars do not fully close, but with time, I can learn to mend and forgive other aspects of life and be grateful for the time we are allowed to have. Light can not exist without darkness.
