Welcome to C.U.L.T.

Logline: C.U.L.T. (Club of Unaffiliated Liberal Theology), is a comedy series that follows a religious freshman as he goes undercover to try and sabotage a Satanic cult operating as a club at his community college.

Director’s Statement: C.U.L.T. is a story about finding the right community. It is also a critique of toxic evangelical practices and their harmful impacts on their own followers. As someone who grew up in a toxic religious community and was a bit of a social outcast as a teen I gravitated to this story as it touches a very personal place in my heart. In addition to that, I grew up with an affinity for absurdist comedy and sitcoms, and this provides a great opportunity to flex my comedic muscles a bit.
