What is Immortal?

This isn't a story about the eminence of being a vampire.

For decades Jean has carried the gift of immortality, yet she lacks the ability to pass it on. Every companion she has tried to keep has died a painful, messy death at her hands. She is the carrier of a sin that rots everyone she touches.

This is the story of a vampire, obsession, and an unsuccessful turn.

We subvert the classic vampire trope. This isn't about the horror of being undead, it's about the horror of being unable to connect.
