Nanette Joan Epstein New Voices Scholarship

The Nanette Joan Epstein New Voices Scholarship was created to honor Nanette “Nancy” Joan Epstein, who built a lifelong career in education, rising from art teacher to Director of Gifted and Talented Education, assistant principal, and ultimately principal of College View, where she found deep purpose serving students with severe disabilities. Known for her intelligence, resilience, and commitment to equity, she shaped countless lives through both leadership and compassion. Beyond her career, she was a devoted family woman with wide-ranging passions, whose strength and spirit endured even after a 2017 diagnosis of Lewy Body Dementia. Nancy passed away in January of 2024.

The scholarship will provide support for student(s) enrolled in the University’s Film Production option in the Department of Cinema and Television Arts.
