Since 1982, the China Institute at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) has served as a vibrant hub for academic and cultural exchange between the United States and China. For over four decades, the Institute has advanced the understanding of Chinese history, culture, language, and heritage through interdisciplinary education, research, and community engagement. Our mission is to cultivate globally engaged citizens who promote cross-cultural communication, mutual respect, and international collaboration.
