Who We Are

We are the Health Administration Student Association (HASA), an organization dedicated to enhancing the academic experience of students within the health administration program. We provide members with additional tools to support both their academic growth and future career success. Our association offers an inclusive community for health science majors and opportunities to build a strong network amongst peers, faculty and healthcare professionals. We are committed to promoting active involvement by providing enriching experiences and a range of social and professional extracurricular activities. Through our fundraiser, "Support Future Healthcare Leaders at CSUN," we hope to provide students with meaningful opportunities to build their skills, connect with professionals, and learn more about careers in healthcare administration.

Our Purpose

The Health Administration Student Association is dedicated to providing enriching experiences for students interested in the allied health field. Our goal is to build a close-knit community, offer informative events that enhance skills and competencies, and connect members with mentors who provide valuable professional insights. We facilitate volunteer opportunities with local healthcare organizations, collaborate with the Master of Health Administration (MHA) program and act as a liaison between faculty and Health Administration students on issues related to curriculum. We strive to continuously develop our members by ensuring that they are well-equipped to excel in the evolving landscape of health administration.

Our Mission

Our mission is to cultivate an inclusive community for Health Administration students, offering the insight, resources and opportunities, they need to excel as future leaders in the healthcare industry.

Our Events and Opportunities

This semester, we hosted our “Acing the Interview” event on September 17 via Zoom, where students learned interview tips and strategies. Our first general meeting took place on September 24 at the East Conference Center. We are also hosting an MHA Series, where current master’s students share their experiences, provide advice, and discuss pursuing a Master of Health Administration degree.

We are planning many more educational, networking, and social events throughout the semester to help students connect, learn, and grow. Your support will help us continue creating valuable opportunities for CSUN students interested in making a positive impact in healthcare.
